GEORG FRIEDRICH VON HANDEL

Born and raised in Austria, Georg studied classical and jazz piano at the Franz Schubert Conservatory and the Vienna Conservatory, where he graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Music. After moving to Los Angeles, Georg completed his studies with a certificate for Recording Arts.

In 1997, Georg Friedrich von Handel received a scholarsip from the Austrian Ministry of Education and Arts. In 1998, he was a guest lecturer at the Golden West College in Huntington Beach, CA and is also acknowledged for his work in music education throughout Los Angeles.

As a pianist/keyboardist he played with numerous bands in Austria, the Caribbean and the USA. Two original jazz compositions can be found on the 1995 released CD "Vienna Blues": "Off Key" and "Green in Blue". Georg was pianist to the nationally acclaimed Viennese Military "Big Band" which performed at all high State Balls and events.
In addition he was number 2 in charge assisting the musical director.

For the last 15 years Georg has worked as a composer, arranger, musical director and bandleader throughout Europe and the USA. In the passed 4 years Georg dedicated his time and efforts to produce professional demos for young and upcoming singer/songwriters to help to promote themselves. In 2003 he cofounded BETA RECORDS.
